I've just bought an P38 , very nice and I like the decoking acton rather than the 1911 way of doing things. V pointable, good weight and not bad for accuracy . Should be good for executing terrorists at Arnhem !

Today I received my second Speed Graphic Camera.
Kodak Ektar Lens is dated 1946 (EO-3213).

About to trade an old pair of Tanker goggles for a HS-23 headset for my tanker outfit.

Just bought a nice 1940s wristwatch, recently serviced and in full working order. However, my stupid camera flash isn't working at the moment, so I can't take a picture.

Nice,

I have two war-time watches, a Bulova and a Waltham. The Bulova got ruined by bad weather in France last year. The Waltham is staying in the display case!
Half a year ago I bought another one from a guy on the UK WWII forums who made a batch of look-a-likes with digital innards. On close inspection you'll see that the face is actually printed on. But it gives me a watch to wear at events that I don't mind if it ever gets ruined.

Received a Britisch Gallon Oil Can a few days ago. It's going to replace my plastic oil can I keep in the Jeep. I need to stencil on some markings, any ideas? "SAE 30" has got to be on it. Or is there a Britisch equivalent to this type of oil?
